MILLER MOTORSPORTS PARK 2901 N Sheep Lane— A major motorsports park on 500 acres of property at Deseret Peak Complex, just 25 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. The park will open in the fall of 2005 and will start hosting events on a regular basis in 2006.
BENSON GRIST MILL 325 SR 138 Stansbury Park (435)882-7678—For those of you who like to take a step back in time, Tooele County's Benson Grist Mill is the sight that can't be missed. Now more than 150 years old, the mill was hailed as the most significant structural landmark between Salt Lake City and Reno, Nevada when it was placed on the National Register of Historic Sites in 1972.
BINGHAM COPPER MINE— is one of the largest and most up-to-date integrated copper operations in the world. The mine is two-a-a-half miles deep and employees about 1,400 people.
DESERET PEAK RECREATION COMPLEX 2930 W Highway 112 (435)843-4000—Nestled in the heart of Tooele County, Deseret Peak Complex features an impressive array of venues ideally suited for the attraction of a wide range of events and activities. The complex opened in 1999 and has brought many exciting events to Tooele County including Demolition Derby, Aquatic Center, Archery Park and range, Horse Race Track, Motocross & BMX, Mining Museum, and Utah Firefighters Museum to name a few.
DESERET PEAK TRAIL (801)542-5042—Salt Lake Ranger District About 40 miles southwest of Salt Lake City. From Grantsville, on State Route 138, take the South Willow Canyon road south. A sign marks the turn. After about five miles, the road forks. Take the west fork and drive about seven miles to the trailhead.
DONNER-REED MUSEUM (435)884-8411 Grantsville—One hundred and twenty-five years after the Donner-Reed Party crossed the salt desert, their trail is still etched in the salt and is easily seen. Those who have followed the trail have been able to re-create their journey from day to day by the things left behind. Many artifacts were brought back. Some are here in the museum. By the time the Donner-Reed Party reached Tooele Valley, they were already about a month behind schedule. Because of the delays, they were snowed in at Donner Pass in the Sierras. Eighty-seven people left Ft. Bridger. Forty-seven lived to arrive in California.

TEMPLE SQUARE 50 West North Temple, SLC (801)240-2534— This ten-acre block located in the middle of downtown Salt Lake City is Utah's n umber one tourist attraction. Located in the center of the square is the 6-spire granite Salt Lake Temple, adjacent to the temple is the domed shape Tabernacle, which is home to the world-famous Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Tabernacle Organ. Temple Square also features the Assembly Hall located south of the tabernacle, the North Visitor's Center and the South Visitor's Center. Several monuments and statues are also located through the 4 grounds portraying significant events of The Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder-Day Saints. Forty-five minute free tours of the square begin every 5 to 10 minutes at the 100 foot flagpole in the center of the clock. Christmas lights decorate Temple Square every year for the holiday season.
TOOELE COUNTY RAILROAD MUSEUM 35 North Broadway (435)882-2836--The home of a steam engine, several cabooses, dining car, simulated mine and a children's train. On the inside, visitors will see numerous interesting exhibits of the local mining, railroading, and smeling history. Open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
